I’m a 30 something who’s recently caught a rather virulent form of knitting! I started knitting at Christmas, with the help of the book Stitch and Bitch and ever since I’ve not stopped knitting. My other great addiction now is knitting podcasts and I can’t miss an episode of Cast On, Never Not Knitting, Sticks and String or Limenviolet!
I’m a wife and mother of 3 delightful children, and facing secondary infertility after 2 years of trying to bring baby #4 into our home and I am Mum to 3 angel babies who I carried for brief times last and this year.
I have suffered from moderate to severe depression for all of my adult life and most of my childhood and I now self ‘medicate’ with yarn, books and hot bubble baths! Every stitch I make keeps me a little bit more here in this world and a little less in that deep pit.
